Each month of the year 2023, Ghost Food are releasing a special track celebrating and honoring that particular moon...Each track will also be a collaboration featuring a different noise/abstract/experimental musician from various locations and environments.

The 2nd of these lunar tracks is “Snow Moon” and features Isidro Robinson (aka Laughingthrush).

February’s typically cold, snowy weather in North America earned its moon this particular name. Storm moon and Hunger Moon are other common names.

Huntsville Al native Isidro Robinson is a Birmingham-based experimental musician and sound engineer who creates a dense volley of rhythm and samples with expressive vocals under the moniker Laughingthrush. Robinson’s organic approach to music-making is founded in his uniquely human interaction with electronics, causing those listening to constantly wonder : is he fighting with technology or collaborating with it?
