In December, the cold returns and closes out the lunar cycle. The winter winds fasten their grip, the nights become long and dark, bringing back the ice and snow and it’s time to gather by warm fires. This full moon is also known as Little Spirit Moon, Long Night Moon and Hoar Frost Moon.
